Thanksgiving Recap

I had a wonderful 4 days off, it was filled with many of the things that long weekends are filled with, relaxing, watching football, relaxing, eating, sleeping in late.

It started off on Wednesday with my inspiration to mow the lawn for the last time. Alas, I tried and tried, and Jake tried and tried, but we could not get the mower started. That pretty much ended any attempts to be productive for the weekend. I ended up taking Lucy to the dog park while Jake finished up work for the day.

Thursday we cleaned a bit, and lounged around the house. We ended up making reservations at a restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. I would have cooked, but it looked like it was just going to be Jake and I so it didn't seem worth it. Our friend Kelechi ended up joining us for dinner, so the three of us had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal out. We went back to our place and just hung out and talked and watched a little tv.

Friday was more of the same. Walks with the dog, lounging, cleaning, Jake did a little work, and I did a little homework, did a few errands, and went out for mexican.

Saturday, was the highlight for me. My friend Diana came over, and we put up both of my christmas trees. Then we made home made bruchetta and pizza. Overall a really fun day.

Sunday I did some homework, watched some football, did some more homework, made dinner, and watched some more football.

Hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Wish me luck as I finish up my last week of school. By Tuesday of next week, all of my finals will be done. Maybe I'll post more frequently after that...
