I just have to get on my soap box and express my outrage an a commercial I saw on TV last night. It was a Burger King Commercial with that weird King, which I think is reason number 291 why I don't eat BK.
Anyway, it was this King sing a remake of the Sir Mix a lot song big butts, except the song was saying "I like square butts and I cannot lie..." Although this is a bit cheesy it's not that bad. My outrage came when I started to realize the square butts, was some how being tied into Sponge Bob Square Pants, and it was an advertisement for Burger Kings Kid's Meal.
Seriously? This is the message that seems appropriate to advertise to children????
Then, the public health professional in me kicked in when I realized they were selling kids meals for 99 cents. Great, a cheap meal, that is totally unhealthy with a song that talks about butts.

I agree. The weird King is freaky. The box butts are extremely annoying and besides all that the food is bad and it is a poorly run company.
It has been bought and sold and reengineered so many times that its only way of generating business is advertising, which is working, by the way.
How I do not know but it is working.
I have always prefered BK over McDonalds. After this POS commercial, I doubt I will ever eat at BK again. These F'n losers may appologize for the commercial, however, I don't realy give a s... They don't care about anything but the sale of a burger. You're right. McDonalds doesn't seem to have to push the marketing while BK tries so hard to capture the losers out there that buy into their BS....

McDonalds corporate mascot is a freaking clown...they invented the happy meal...
I try to stay away from fast food in general...
I mean seriously, Long John Silvers? Find me *ONE* person who has ate there and hasn't had stomach problems after it :)
