Cowboy Boots and Birthdays

In amongst everything else that has been going on lately, I had a birthday. My wonderful husband planned out my birthday with some fun treats. My big present was a pair of cowboy boots. I've been wanting some since we moved down here.

Instead of trying to figure out what I might like, my husband planned a "boot fitting" which consisted of going to Cavendars Boot City, and trying a bunch on until I found the one's I liked.

After the boot fitting we went to Fuzzy's taco's for lunch. Fran, I'm telling you, give them another try with the sauce, it makes a world of difference.

After lunch I was treated to a Mani/Pedi and then more time to relax before dinner.

All in all it was a great day, I'm not sure how I feel about being a year older, but I guess there isn't much I can do to change it.

Every Texan, newcomer or native, should have a pair of cowboy boots. I drove to Nacona to buy mine many years ago.Congratulations.

And yes, I have to go back to Fuzzy's to try again. Thanks.
