Wow, I cannot believe how out of shape my lungs got in two weeks. Post half marathon, which also happened to be the week of 4 snow days in a row, I kinda let myself slack off. Wouldn't have been a big deal, I got one run in, but then we got hit with some more crazy weather, we're trying to adjust to a new schedule and I let another week go by. I'm back on track I've gotten 3 runs in since last Friday, but man oh man can I feel it in my lungs. Thankfully I believe I will snap back fairly quickly. I'm looking to do another half either at the end of March or early April depending on my schedule.
I also bought some Gu, a Cliff shot energy gel, and some Power Bar chewables this weekend. I look forward to trying them out over the next few weeks. I'll certainly share what I think.
Oh and we had a really good meal tonight that I'll try to share this week.
